LET ME JUST SAY GRRRRR! Everyone here is making fun of me for already packing. I know I don't leave until June 13th, but I like to be prepared. Especially since I am traveling alone! I must be sure I don't forget my favorite t-shirt or perhaps more importantly, my toothbrush! Or maybe I'm just obsessed and can't wait to leave my little bubble of a world here in Sguzzex.
O gosh, and y'all should see my trying to come up with lesson plans. It's quite hilarious because I have no idea what I am doing...I'm pretty sure I've never taken a curriculum class, and I'm pretty sure I am studying to teach social studies, not games. Yep, that's right, I'll be playing games all summer with Ukrainian kids. I can't wait to show them how to play some seriously lame American game that they will laugh at me for attempting to teach. I know it will happen, in which case I will make a mere spectacle of myself.
Haha O yes, and my knowledge of the Ukrainian language is quite frankly: sad. I know how to say "Hi"...priveeeet!!!...and that's it. I'm attempting to learn more, but it has proven to be a challenge. Too bad I'll overcome it. When I get back, y'all have no idea what happened to German Michelle. I'll be like the epitome of everything Ukrainian, Soviet, or Eastern European. AND I can't wait:)
